Sharon M. Grod, a beloved member of the community and respected medical professional, passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 76. With over 30 years of dedicated service in the medical field, Sharon touched the lives of many with her compassion and skill.

Throughout her career, Sharon's commitment to excellence earned her the admiration of colleagues and patients. She also demonstrated a passion for giving back through her volunteer work with the FFRC, a cat rescue organization, showcasing her love for animals.

In her personal life, Sharon embraced adventure and joy, creating lasting memories with her family at Disney World and enjoying the excitement of the racetrack on Friday nights. Her diverse interests extended to running a website for a Safari company in Africa, blending her professional skills with her passions.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 57 years, Andrew J. Grod; children Anastasia Holland, Andrew R. Grod (Leslie McGinnis); grandchildren Ashley, Samantha, Emma, Chaz, and Landon; sisters Dawn Gaynor, and Carole Sheehan. She was preceded in death by her parents Gerit and Betty Knobbe, and brothers Thomas and Donnie Knobbe.
