Bonnie L. Borms (nee Eckhoff), a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on January 10, 1954, in Joliet, IL, to Norman and Ella Eckhoff, Bonnie was a graduate of Manteno High School. She had a successful involvement in 4-H, excelling in showing cattle. She was known for her cake decorating skills and love for baking, enjoyed bowling, and had a dedicated career as a bookkeeper at Papineau & Chebanse Grain Elevator.

Bonnie served as a superintendent at the Fine Arts Building at the Will County Fair and had a great love for her grandsons' travel baseball. Survived by her son Jeremy Borms, daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Tom Durso, grandsons Zach and Jacob Durso, granddaughter Jillian Borms, brothers Jeff and Jerry Eckhoff, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, son Jason Borms, and brother David Eckhoff.

Cremation has occurred. A memorial visitation will be held at Fedde-Helfrich-Cross Funeral Home on Friday, May 16, 2025, with a memorial service to follow. Memorials are appreciated. Share memories at www.feddehelfrichcrossfh.com.
