Visitors are always welcome to all public meetings of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Crete. lnterested parties wishing to speak should identify their intent to speak, they then may give their name and where they reside if they so choose and then make their comment. Persons may also provide their address privately to the Village Clerk if they so choose; persons are advised that addresses are considered private information underthe Freedom of lnformation Act and thus are exempt from disclosure pursuant to any Freedom of lnformatron Act request. However, in order to give proper consideration to all items on the agenda, the President has the authority to limit participants in debates and will close repetitive or abusive remarks. ln addition, public comment rules are posted in the board room.

. Waste Management sent notification for Notice of Application for Permit to the IEPA, Bureau of Land, to manage solid waste in accordance with Special Condition Vl.6 of the permit.
. A certified letter was received from Katie Nagy of Ancel Glink Professional Corporation concerning a Crete Twp. Zoning request to Will County, asking approval to modify the existing Township community center sign at 25930 So. Cottage Grove Avenue in Crete. A dynamic display is being requested. Board action may be taken.
OLD BUSINESS:
1. Results of the RFP Paramedic-Firefighter submissions opened on May Sth, 2025. Board action may be taken.
2. Ordinance No. 2025- : An Ordinance lmplementing a Municipal Grocery Retailers' Occupation Tax and a Municipal Grocery Service Occupation Tax in the Village of Crete, Will County, lllinois. The statewide grocery sales tax will be repealed January 1, 2026. Fot a municipality that wishes to implement a local grocery tax effective January 1, 2Q26, an ordinance must be passed and submitted to the State praor to October, 2025. Board action may be taken.
3. Ordinance No.2025- : An Ordinance Authorizing a Tax lncrement Financing Agreement between the Village of Crete and Estebans Mainstreet Holdings, LLC. Board action may be taken.
4. Resolution No. 2025- : A Resolution Proclaimin g the Results of the Consolidated Election Held Within the Village of Crete, Will County, lllinois on the 1"t Day of April, 2025. Board action is anticipated.
5. Resolution No. 2025- : A Resolution authorizing and approving an employment contract with the Chief of Police. Board action may be taken

NEW BUSINESS:
1. Resolution No.2025- : A Resolution authorizin g the sale of surplus property, to wit: 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe, Vin #1GN5K2E02CR251133, Mileage 179,234, retired police department vehicle. Board action is anticipated.
2. Resolution No. 2025- : A Resolution authorizing the sale of surplus property, to wit: 2013 Ford Taurus, Vin #'lFAHP2M82DG132156, Mileage 131,232, retired police department vehicle. Board action is anticipated.
3. Consideration/discussion to cancel the Village Board meeting scheduled for May 26, 2025 as it is the official day to celebrate Memorial Day. Board action is anticipated.
4. An Honorary Street Name Siqn Application was received from Therese Hale at First and Lumber Street and Exchange and Lumber Street. As set forth by the Village Board only one location is allowed per honoree and/or applicant. Board action may be taken.
