Tracy Ann Less Jones, aged 54, of Braidwood, Illinois, tragically passed away on May 1, 2025, in a motor vehicle accident. Born on August 24, 1970, in Ottawa, Illinois, Tracy was the daughter of Deborah Ann Watters and the late Richard Lee Less. Tracy's life embodied compassion, creativity, and dedication to her family and career.

Growing up in Ottawa and later Morris, Tracy pursued her passion for beauty by studying at Professional’s Choice Hair Design Academy. She forged lasting bonds in the Joliet hairdressing community before transitioning to a fulfilling journey in nursing. Tracy's calling as a Registered Nurse at the Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno for 17 years exemplified her caring nature as she tended to Veterans with compassion.

Tracy was a woman of diverse interests—a fitness enthusiast at Dynamic Fitness, a music lover, and a free spirit who enjoyed yoga, essential oils, and spiritual practices. Her artistic flair was evident in her painting, photography, and style, reflecting her eye for beauty.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from the sun and travel to white wine and her loyal dog, Bo. Tracy was a nurturing soul, a dedicated mother and grandmother who celebrated her family's milestones with pride and joy. Her legacy of kindness and creativity will be a lasting tribute to her spirit.

Tracy is survived by her mother Deborah and step-father Tony Watters, her three children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her former husband. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, and niece.

Cremation rites have been administered, and a memorial visitation open to friends and family will be held at Baskerville Funeral Home in Wilmington on May 6, 2025. Tracy's memory will be honored with private family services and interment at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Wilmington.
