Lane closures on I-80 in Joliet scheduled over two weekends

The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced scheduled lane closures on Interstate 80 in Joliet for two consecutive weekends. The closures are to occur between Houbolt Road and Richards Street.

For the first weekend, the right lane on eastbound I-80 will be closed from 10 PM on Friday, April 25, to 5 AM on Monday, April 28. Following this, the right lane on westbound I-80 will be closed from 10 PM on Friday, May 2, to 5 AM on Monday, May 5.

IDOT stated that these lane closures are necessary for "pavement patching and bridge deck repairs."
