Work scheduled for the week of April 7th in the Chicago Street Corridor project includes the ongoing installation of water mains on Clinton Street, between Ottawa and Chicago Streets, and the continuation of streetlighting electrical work on Chicago Street. Additionally, the placement of shade structure, fountain, and seatwall foundations is planned.

Looking ahead to the week of April 14th, efforts will extend to seatwall construction in City Square and electrical work behind curbs on Chicago Street. The water main installation on Clinton is set to move east toward Scott Street, necessitating the closure of Chicago Street, north of Van Buren, on Monday and Tuesday. Installation of new water services to buildings north of Cass Street on Chicago Street is also expected. Curb and sidewalk repairs are slated to begin on Chicago Street, north of Cass.

Progress continues with the construction of seatwalls and shade structure foundations in City Square. Concrete work is underway for fountain and shade structure foundations. The project has also seen the start of the installation of a 24-inch water main on Clinton Street.
