The City of Joliet Diversity & Community Relations Committee will meet on Monday, March 17, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Executive Conference Room, located on the second floor of Joliet City Hall, at 150 West Jefferson Street, Joliet, Illinois.
Those unable to attend in person may email their comments before the meeting to publiccomment@joliet.gov.
The meeting's agenda includes a discussion on the "Consolidated Plan 2025-2029 & Program Year 2025 Annual Action Plan," along with the approval of meeting minutes from November 2024.
Citizens will have the opportunity to speak on agenda items, with a time limit of four minutes per person. It is noted that this period is not intended as a question and answer session, as neither staff nor committee members respond to public comments. The City Clerk holds a copy of the public speaking procedures, and individuals who cause disruptions may be ordered by the Presiding Officer to cease speaking.
Public comment will also be allowed for non-agenda items, adhering to the same time restrictions and conduct rules.
