Janice C. Jansky (Brown), 81, formerly of Frankfort and a current resident of Marian Village in Homer Glen, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 17, 2025, at RUSH University Medical Center in Chicago. She is survived by her husband Norman Jansky, children Michael Phillips Sr., Norbert Phillips Jr., Brian Phillips, step-sons Kenneth Jansky and Robert Jansky, siblings Ray Brown, J.C. Brown, Linda Brown, Howard Maag, grandchildren, and many more.

Janice, preceded in death by her parents William and Martha Brown and brother Robert Brown, retired from COMED and enjoyed activities such as Bingo, playing cards, computer games, and spending time with family and friends.

A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel in Frankfort on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 6:00 p.m. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Brain Tumor Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are suggested to honor Janice's memory.
