George Outman, 76, of Mokena, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 14, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Connie (nee Doolan) Outman; loving father of Valerie Outman, George Outman, Matthew Outman, and Emily Outman; proud grandfather of Maggie and Olivia Outman; caring brother of Betty Shamasko; and devoted owner of granddogs Waffles, Blueberry, Chancey, Benny, and Charlie.

George was known for his kind and selfless heart, dedicating his time to family and helping others. He was a bowling coach, enjoyed bowling himself, and cheered for Chicago sports teams, especially the Cubs. George was a committed Christian who expressed gratitude for his blessings.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 2 p.m. until the Memorial Service at 7 p.m. at Hickey Memorial Chapel, located at 2100 Calistoga Drive, New Lenox, IL 60451. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to PAWS Tinley Park, One Tail At A Time of Chicago, and Frankfort Fire Protection District.
