City of Lockport Committee of the Whole met Dec. 18.

REGULAR MEETING of the Committee of the Whole of the City of Lockport, Illinois was held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 in the Board Room, 3rd Floor, of the Central Square Building, 222 E. Ninth Street, Lockport, Illinois. Mayor Steve Streit called the Meeting to order at 7:34 pm.

CD-1. Release of Bond and Initial Acceptance of Site Improvements excluding Parkway Trees for Clover Ridge Unit 3 Phase 2

Director of Community & Economic Development, Lance Thies, presented the Staff report. DIRECTION: Add to the Consent Agenda for the January 15, 2024 City Council Meeting

CD-2. Adoption of the Star Innovation District Workshop Scenario Evaluation Report Director of Community & Economic Development, Lance Thies, presented the Staff report. DIRECTION: Add to the Consent Agenda for the January 15, 2024 City Council Meeting

PW-1. Purchase a 2025 Ford F750 SuperCab for the Public Works & Engineering Department for a Total Cost Not to Exceed $234,739.00

Director of Public Works, Brian Lovering presented the staff report. The truck is a replacement for an existing report that is used regularly. The current truck was purchased in 2013 and has had continuous repairs.

DIRECTION: Add to the Consent Agenda for the January 15, 2024 City Council Meeting

PW-2. Purchase a Forklift for the Wastewater Division for a Total Cost Not to Exceed $32,755.00

Director of Public Works, Brian Lovering presented the staff report. This purchase would all the City to switch to hoist and carry larger totes which will save money.

DIRECTION: Add to the Consent Agenda for the January 15, 2024 City Council Meeting

PW-3. Purchase a Sign Truck for the Street Department for a Total Cost Not to Exceed $85,000.00

Director of Public Works, Brian Lovering presented the staff report.

PW-4. Appropriation of MFT Funds in the Amount of $456,000 and Maintenance of Streets and Highways by Municipality Under the Illinois Highway Code

Director of Public Works, Brian Lovering presented the staff report.

MOTION BY GILLOGLY, SECONDED BY SABAN TO ADJOURN THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING AT 7:49 PM. VOICE VOTE ON THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED.
