John P. Howard Sr. | O'Neil Funeral Home And Heritage Crematory - Lockport
John P. Howard Sr., aged 91, a U.S. Army Korean War veteran from Cabot, AR, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024. He was the retired owner of Cook’s Office Machines in Chicago Heights and a former member of St. Dennis Church. John was involved in various church activities, including serving as a Eucharistic Minister and offering marriage encounter and Pre-Cana counseling. He was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonville, AR. Preceded in death by his wife and parents, he is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in John’s name are welcomed. Services will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at O’Neil Funeral Home chapel, followed by interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
