Acacia L. Peters, 91, of Frankfort, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Cedarhurst of Frankfort. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond W. Peters.

Survived by her children Raymond (Emily) Peters, Donald (Hannah) Peters, Melissa (Kim) Breed, sibling Pearl Storms, grandchildren Paige (Omar) Villalobos, Neal Peters, Stacey Liptke, Judson (Mary) Brady, Heather (Tom) Wallerstedt, Alison (Joe) Curtis, Alex Peters, Amanda Peters, Luke (Megan) Peters, Taylor (fiancé Logan Brooks), and 16 great-grandchildren.

Acacia was also preceded in death by her parents Alfred & Conception Storms (Deflores), siblings William and Frederick Storms. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and was a former member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Tennessee. A visitation will take place at Kurtz Memorial Chapel in Frankfort, IL on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital are welcomed.
