Lonnie W. Smith Sr., 82, a resident of Frankfort, Illinois, born in Blytheville, Arkansas, on July 7, 1942, peacefully passed away on October 26, 2024. Survived by his children Lainie (David) Hippleheuser, Beth (John) Ward, Lonnie (Caroline) Smith Jr., and grandchildren Nathaniel and Eric Hippleheuser, Jonathan Ward, Joshua, and Madelyn Ward. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel in Frankfort, IL on Friday, November 1, 2024, with funeral services on Saturday, November 2, 2024, followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen Park, IL. Contributions can be made in his memory.
