City of Wilmington City Council met Oct. 15.

MAYOR BEN DIETZ CALLED TO ORDER THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE WILMINGTON CITY COUNCIL AT 7:07 P.M.

ROLL CALL

After the pledge of allegiance, the following answered to Roll Call: Alderpersons Kevin Kirwin, Ryan Jeffries, Dennis Vice and Thomas Smith. Alderpersons Leslie Allred, Todd Holmes, Ryan Knight and Jonathan Mietzner were absent. The number present constitutes a quorum.

Also present: Attorney Bryan Wellner, City Administrator Jeannine Smith, Finance Director Nancy Gross, Public Works Director James Gretencord, Police Chief Adam Zink and Deputy City Clerk Joie Ziller.

1. Approve the Regular Meeting Minutes from October 1, 2024

2. Approve the Accounts Payable Report

3. Approve Ordinance No. 24-10-15-01, An Ordinance Rezoning Certain Property to the I-5 Large Scale Planned Industrial Zoning District (Elion Logistics Park 55) PIN 03-17-21-300-023-0000

4. Approve the estimate from DJ’s Heating and Air Conditioning to replace a gas tube heater in the second building at Public Works for a price not to exceed $5,900

5. Approve the quote from Conley Excavating to replace the drive-thru lane at City Hall with concrete and to add an inlet drain with an open lid for a cost not to exceed $18,340

6. Approve the quote from Overhead Door Company of Joliet to install a roll-up garage door at the Pump House for a cost not to exceed $8,891.84

7. Approve Resolution No. 2024-13, Approve Resolution for Improvement Under the Illinois Highway Code for the Park Street Improvement Project

8. Approve the repairs made by J+A Fleet Maintenance to equipment #47 for a total cost of $9,792.12

Alderperson Kirwin made a motion and Alderperson Smith seconded to approve the Consent Agenda for the October 15, 2024, City Council meeting as presented

Upon roll call, the vote was:

AYES: 5 Kirwin, Jeffries, Smith, Vice and Mayor Dietz

NAYS: 0

ABSENT: 4 Allred, Holmes, Knight, Mietzner

The motion carried.
