Plainfield - Janet Marie Mascolino, 78, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, surrounded by her family. Formerly of Burbank, Illinois, Janet was known for her devotion to attending her grandchildren's events and engaging in various community activities such as bocce ball, shuffleboard, card games, and luncheons with cherished friends.

Janet is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles M. Mascolino; children Jennifer Dziedzic and Charles Mascolino; grandchildren Reagan Casper, Nick Dziedzic, Ben Dziedzic, Claire Mascolino, and Charlie Mascolino; siblings Jean Horvath and John Brissman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she deeply cared for. She is preceded in death by her mother, Magdalene Segvich.

A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Home in Plainfield. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Romeoville on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Janet Marie Mascolino will be remembered for her love of family, vibrant spirit, and active involvement in her community activities.
