A motion was made by Councilman Pat Mudron, seconded by Councilman Larry E. Hug, to approve the September 3, 2024 Public Service Minutes. The motion carried by the following vote:

Award of Contract for the Sewer Pipe Television Truck Purchase and Modification - Utilities Department to EJ Equipment Inc. in the amount of $239,922.00

Allison Swisher discussed the Sewer Pipe Television Truck Purchase, in the amount of $239,922.00, from EJ Equipment Inc.

Professional Services Agreement for the Westside Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion Project to Strand Assoc Inc. in the amount of $6,175,114.00

Allison Swisher discussed the Professional Services Agreement for the Westside Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion Project, in the amount of $6,175,114.00, to Strand Assoc Inc. A presentation was given to the Public Service Committee.

A motion was made by Councilman Pat Mudron, seconded by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, to recommend ID-1841-20, 1842-20, and 1843-20 for approval by full Council. The motion carried by the following vote:

Change Order No. 1 for the Purchase of Water Metering Equipment from Core & Main LP in the amount of $19,550.00

Anthony Anczer, Deputy Director Engineering, discussed Change Order No. 1 for the Purchase of Water Metering Equipment, in the amount of $19,550.00, from Core & Main LP

Amendment No. 3 for the Professional Services Agreement for the 2024 Water Main Rehabilitation Program to Baxter & Woodman Inc. in the amount of $51,000.00

Greg Ruddy, Public Works Director, discussed Grant of a Public Utility Easement from Will County for Fiber Conduit Installation.

Resolution Approving a Memorandum of Understanding with the County of Will for an Easement for Fiberoptic Conduit Installation

Greg Ruddy discussed the 50 year Memorandum of Understanding for the Easement for Fiberoptic Conduit Installation.

Resolution Approving a Letter of Understanding with the Illinois Department of Transportation for the Maintenance of Various Items Associated with the Cass Street (US Route 30) Bridge over the Des Plaines River Maintenance of Various items associated with the Cass Street Bridge.

Resolution Appropriating Rebuild Illinois Bond Funds for Amendment No. 1 to the Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III Professional Engineering Services for the Joliet Centralized Traffic Management System Improvement Project - Phase A - MFT Section No. 21-00546-00-TL

Sean Mikos discussed the Resolution appropriating Rebuild Illinois Bond Funds for Amendment No. 1.

Resolution Declaring Certain City of Joliet Property as Surplus

Greg Ruddy discussed the Resolution declaring property as Surplus for items at the Motor Maintenance Division.

A motion was made by Councilman Pat Mudron, seconded by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, to recommend ID-1848-20, 1849-20, 1850-20, 1851-20, and 1852-20 for approval by full Council. The motion carried by the following vote:
