Jim Domzal received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Frankfort Travel Baseball program this month.
"Your efforts and accomplishments are appreciated by multiple generations of hometown baseball players. Thank you!" the organizers said, according to the organization's Facebook post.
Domzal is president and owner of J&L Metal Doors Inc., according to his LinkedIn page. The business will have been operating for 47 years in August.
According to the Frankfort Travel Baseball Facebook page, teams in Frankfort Travel Baseball are having success, with 10U McCormick taking home the championship at the Primetime Turf Classic in Bettendorf on June 18. The 12U team was representing Frankfort in Pigeon Forge this week, with their first game in the Gold bracket held on June 27.
