The City of Joliet Public Utilities Department has announced the commencement of construction on the Parkview Area Water Main project. Starting Monday, June 3, 2024, traffic control and safety measures will be implemented, reducing traffic to a single lane in each direction on Glenwood Avenue from 129th Infantry Drive to Madison Street for approximately 12 weeks.
"We appreciate your patience and ask that you drive slowly and cautiously through any construction zone," stated a representative from the department.
