The City of Joliet Committee on Citizens with Disabilities has announced a meeting to be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. The gathering will take place in the Council Chambers, Second Floor, at Joliet City Hall, located at 150 West Jefferson Street, Joliet, Illinois.
Among the items on the agenda are discussions regarding committee by-laws and meeting frequency. The committee has also allotted time for public comments related to both agenda and non-agenda items. Each speaker is entitled to speak for a maximum of four minutes. However, it's important to note that this period is not designed as a question and answer session and typically does not elicit responses from staff or the Committee on Citizens with Disabilities.
Those unable to attend can email their comments ahead of the meeting to publiccomment@joliet.gov. It should be noted that any conduct deemed injurious to the harmony of the Committee may result in forfeiture of speaking opportunities.
