1. CALL TO ORDER

Roll Call

Present 6 - Trustee Jose Chavez, Trustee Dave Richards, Trustee Brian A. Clancy Sr., Mayor John Noak, Trustee Lourdes Aguirre, and Trustee Linda Palmiter

A motion was made by Trustee Chavez, seconded by Trustee Richards, to do a consent agenda. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: 5 - Trustee Chavez, Trustee Richards, Trustee Clancy, Trustee Aguirre, and Trustee Palmiter

Absent: 1 - Trustee Griffin

Non-voting: 1 - Mayor Noak

Approval of the Consent Agenda

A motion was made by Trustee Palmiter, seconded by Trustee Aguirre, to approve the Consent Agenda. The motion carried by the following vote:

5. MAYOR'S REPORT

Mayor Noak explained that its been a lot these last few weeks. Happy New Year! Trustee Richards became a grandfather! We celebrated the holidays with the Golden Agers in December. The Romeoville Chamber Installation and Awards Gala is tomorrow. I will be visiting a class at Creekside Elementary next week and hosting a Ride Around Town with the Chamber on Friday, January 26th.

6. CLERK'S REPORT

Condolences to Jeni, Mayor Noak, and Sebastian. Condolences to Brian Cedergren on the passing of this grandson. The Community Service Council is still dealing with financial shortages. Brian McDaniel's has been named in interim Regional Director to Armed Forces and International Services at the American Red Cross. The CSC has been nominated for Nonprofit of the Year from the Romeoville Chamber. The VVEEF meeting is tomorrow at 7 PM at Bolingbrook Village Hall.

7. CITIZEN'S, COMMITTEES, COMMISSIONS AND LIAISON REPORTS

8. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT

Mrs. Caldwell wished everyone a Happy New Year and mentioned that the Ovation Center opened on December 22nd and they currently have three tenants moving in. The new Aquatic Center was featured on the cover of Athletic Business Magazine. Thank you to our Public Works Crews who did a great job clearing streets and our Police, Fire, REMA, and Recreation for all they did during the recent extreme weather conditions. Several people called about the warming centers and two people came to the Rec Center.

Congratulations to the Fire Academy for receiving a grant for $100,000 from Endeavor Health for FF/EMT training.

RES24-3731 A Resolution Waiving the Bidding Requirements and Accepting the Proposals from Metropolitan Industries for the Upgrade and Modernization of Six Sewage Lift Stations

This Resolution was Approved.

RES24-3735 A Resolution Approving an Agreement with Flock Group Inc for LPR Cameras

This Resolution was Approved.

RES24-3737 A Resolution Authorizing a Waiver of the Bidding Process and Authorizing a Purchase Agreement with Axon Enterprise, Inc. (Vehicle Cameras; Software Licenses)

10. BOARD COMMENTS

Trustee Chavez- Condolences to Mayor Noak, Jeni, and Sebastian on their loss. Condolences to the Mushow family. Thank you to all the Village employees who worked hard during inclement weather. The cameras and lift station upgrades that we passed today are so important. It is critical things we need for everyone's safety.

Trustee Palmiter- Congratulations to Trustee Richards on becoming a grandfather. Condolences to the Mushow family. Condolences to Mayor

Noak, Jennifer and Sebastian. Thank you to Public Works!

Trustee Clancy- Condolences to Mayor Noak and family. The Keep Romeoville Beautiful meeting will be February 1st. Happy New Year. Public Works is doing a great job. Congratulations to Trustee Richards.

Trustee Richards- Planning and Zoning will have a meeting January 23rd.

Hope everyone had a happy holiday season. Condolences to Mayor Noak, Jeni, and Sebastian. Great job to our Public Works team.

Trustee Aguirre- Happy New Year! Condolences to Mayor, Jen, and Sebastian. Public Works does a great job. Congratulations to Dave and Denise for their first grandchild. Happy birthday to Mayor.

TO ENTER INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION

A motion was made by Trustee Clancy, seconded by Trustee Chavez, that this Executive Session be Opened at 6:42 PM. The motion carried by a unanimous vote.

11. EXECUTIVE SESSION- Personnel- 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1) and Collective Bargaining Agreements- 5ILCS 120/2(c)(2)

TO CLOSE EXECUTIVE SESSION

A motion was made by Trustee Chavez, seconded by Trustee Aguirre, that this Executive Session be Closed 7:06 PM. The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: 5 - Trustee Chavez, Trustee Richards, Trustee Clancy, Trustee Aguirre, and Trustee Palmiter

Absent: 1 - Trustee Griffin

Non-voting: 1 - Mayor Noak

12. ADJOURNMENT
