CITIZENS SPEAK:

Visitors are always welcome to all public meetings of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Crete. Interested parties wishing to speak should identify their intent to speak, they then may give their name and where they reside if they so choose and then make their comment. Persons may also provide their address privately to the Village Clerk if they so choose; persons are advised that addresses are considered private information under the Freedom of Information Act and thus are exempt from disclosure pursuant to any Freedom of Information Act request. However, in order to give proper consideration to all items on the agenda, the President has the authority to limit participants in debates and will close repetitive or abusive remarks. In addition, public comment rules are posted in the board room. APPROVAL OF AGENDA:

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Resolution No. 2023- : A Resolution authorizing an extension of a Scavenger Services Contract by and between The Village of Crete and Republic Services, LLC. Board action may be taken.

2. Resolution No. 2023- : A Resolution authorizing and approving the Village of Crete to enter into an agreement with Digital-Ally for the lease of Officer worn body cameras for the Village of Crete Police Department. Board action may be taken.

3. Resolution No. 2023- : A Resolution authorizing and approving an employment contract with the Chief of Police. Board action may be taken.

4. Resolution No 2023- : A Resolution authorizing an extension of the agreement with IDOT for the Village of Crete to maintain the location, construction, operation and maintenance of driveways and street returns, water main, sanitary and storm sewers, street light, traffic signals, sidewalk, landscaping, etc. on State highways within the Village of Crete. Board action may be taken.

5. Consideration to waive the bidding process for paving at 550 & 575 W. Exchange Street. Board action may be taken.

6. Consideration on a Pay Raise for Fire Administrator. Board action may be taken.

EXECUTIVE SESSION:

1. Pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1), the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees.
