City of Joliet Public Safety Committee met June 20.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

ROLL CALL

Present: Councilman Joe Clement, Councilwoman Jan Hallums Quillman and Councilwoman Sherri Reardon

ALSO PRESENT: Police Chief William Evans, Sergeant Ed Grizzle

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

None.

RESOLUTIONS

Resolution Adopting and Authorizing the Execution of a Grant Agreement with the Illinois Secretary of State Office for the Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force

Sergeant Ed Grizzle gave a slideshow presentation and briefly explained Resolution Adopting and Authorizing the Execution of a Grant Agreement with the Illinois Secretary of State Office for the Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force.

Councilwoman Quillman discussed Resolution.

A motion was made by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, seconded by Councilman Joe Clement, to recommend for approval COUNCIL MEMO #ID-1278-20: Resolution Adopting and Authorizing the Execution of a Grant Agreement with the Illinois Secretary of State Office for the Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force.

The motion carried by the following vote:

Aye: Councilman Clement, Councilwoman Hallums Quillman and Councilwoman Reardon
