J. COMMENTS BY PUBLIC

Chair VanDuyne entertained comments by the pubic. Miguel Castillo spoke in regards to speeding bicycles out at Whalon Lake that cause concern for families using the trails. Mr. Castillo also requested the Committee evaluate having small recreational sailboats on Whalon Lake.

Lynn Richardson of the Will County Trail Riders thanked the Forest Preserve for the signage installed at Hadley Valley Preserve, and for trimming back the trees. Ms. Richardson mentioned how great the trails looked.

K. COMMENTS BY COMMISSIONERS

L. ADJOURNMENT

Executive Director Schultz reminded the members of the ribbon cutting with U.S.

Representative Bill Foster who will be presenting a check for $1.1 million in federal funding to the Forest Preserve District tomorrow at 1 PM. The money will be used for a new path that connects the Wauponsee Glacial Trail to proposed Route 66 trail in Joliet Township.
