CHICAGO – Rock Island Line trains will operate to and from the New Lenox Station instead of Joliet on Saturday, June 3, due to a Canadian National track project planned for that date.

CN will be replacing the tracks at its intersection with Metra tracks between Joliet and New Lenox on Saturday, June 3. This work will temporarily block Metra’s access to its Joliet Station. All Rock Island service on that date will originate from and terminate at New Lenox.

Regular service to Joliet is planned to resume on Sunday, June 4. Metra riders are advised to monitor Metra’s website, metra.com, for any service alerts related to this project.
