A motion was made by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, seconded by
Councilman Joe Clement, to approve the Minutes for the September 20, 2022 Finance Committee Meeting.
The motion was carried by the following vote:

CITIZENS TO BE HEARD ON AGENDA ITEMS:

AGENDA ITEMS:
Resolution Designating Financial Institutions to be used as Depositories for City Funds Attachments: Depositories
James Ghedotte, Director of Finance - presented the resolution for JP Morgan Chase to be added as one of the depositories for the City funds, and recommend that it goes before the full council for approval. No further discussion held.
A motion was made by Councilwoman Sherri Reardon, seconded by Councilman Joe Clement that the resolution for JP Morgan Chase be added as one of the depositories for the City funds, to go before the full council for final approval.
The motion was carried by the following vote:
Aye: Councilwoman Reardon, Councilman Guerrero and Councilman Clement
REPORTS:
Kevin Sing, Budget Officer - presented the Monthly Financial Report for September 2022. Brief discussion held.
Mr. Ghedotte briefly discussed the Invoices Paid report for September 2022. No further discussion held.
Armando De Avila, Risk Management - discussed employment positions currently open within the City of Joliet. No further discussion held.
NEW OR OLD BUSINESS, NOT FOR FINAL ACTION OR RECOMMENDATION:
Councilman Joe Clement, mentioned a possible position opening within the Joliet Police Department that may anticipate a budget amendment to accommodate additional staff. Brief discussion held.
