A motion was made by Jim Riggs, seconded by Brigette Roehr, to approve the August 18, 2022 Zoning Board of Appeals Meeting Minutes. The motion carried by the following vote:

Chairman Hennessy swore in Mr. Nate Washburn, 111 N. Ottawa St., Joliet, IL. Mr. Washburn appeared in support of this petition. Mr. Washburn explained that the business was in operation for two years before they became aware that a Special Use Permit was needed. Mr. Nachtrieb asked if enough parking was available, Mr. Washburn said they are unaware of any parking issues.

Chairman Hennessy swore in Mr. Andre, 2212 Daly Ln., Plainfield, IL. Chairman Hennessy asked what the business hours would be. Chairman Hennessy swore in Mr. Mihali Andreiceu, 7804 Moss Heather Dr., Joliet, IL. Mr. Andreiceu said he is willing to restrict hours if necessary. Mr. ___ said they will operate with normal business hours, nothing overnight to disturb the neighborhood. Ms. Roehr asked what the operation hours were for Joliet Disposal, Mr. Davidson said 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Chairman Hennessy swore in Ms. Betsy Satcher, 610 Florence Ave., Joliet, IL. Ms. Satcher appeared in opposition to this petition. Ms. Satcher said that the neighborhood would be negatively impacted by this type of business.
Chairman Hennessy swore in Ms. Mary White, 112 Third Ave., Joliet, IL. Ms. White appeared in opposition to this petition. Ms. White believes this development will negatively impact the quality of life for nearby residents.

Mr. Schlafer said the hours were 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and there was a maximum of eight trucks during peak operation. Ms. Roehr asked if most of the area was Unincorporated Will County or City of Joliet, Mr. Torri said that most of the area near this development is Unincorporated Will County.
Ms. Safford asked if the petitioner would be willing to table the petition in order to meet with the concerned neighbors. Mr. Davidson said they would be willing to follow the Board's recommendation.
