VI. NEW BUSINESS CORRESPONDENCE

1. Rock Creek Watershed Based Plan

Scott Killinger Presented the case.

Resolution 22-07: Resolution funding of the application fee required for IEPA Section 319(h) Grant for the Rock Creek Watershed Based Plan Resolution 22-08: Resolution in Support of the Rock Creek Watershed Based Plan and partial funding of the local match required for IEPA Section 319(h) Grant

22-07 Will County Rock Creek Watershed based Plan application fee $ 1,250

22-08 Will County (FY 2023) Rock Creek Watershed Plan local match and support $ 28,600

2 resolutions, sign at next meeting.

2. FMF Water Shed Plan

Scott Killinger Presented the case.

Lockport prepared a plan, the County Board to adopt the plan, by new resolution. EPA Approves 1st then other agencies Approve.

Scott Killinger: It is not ready yet, but at some point, we will look at it here and pass a resolution to adopt the plan. In the near future.

3. 2022 Project Program Discussion

Scott Killinger Presented the case.

On the consent agenda:

22-05 New Lenox Township Walona Meadows and New Lenox Heights $ 9,000 22-06 New Lenox Township Edison Industrial and Cedar Industrial Subdivisions $ 11,000

4. Will County Comeback

Scott Killinger Presented the case.

American Rescue Money

I have requested 2 million dollars of American rescue plan money for the US Army Corps of Engineers Project. That would be enough for the county to complete their obligation to the US Army Corps of Engineers. We could just pay it and then continue to move on with that.

Lockport Project: Storm sewer and ditch regrading.

The VIllage of Plainfield: Prairie Ponds Outlet.

The Village of Bolingbrook: BriarCliff Storm Sewers.

5. Consent Agenda

Scott Killinger presented.

Consent agenda

Two resolutions for New Lenox Township. Two resolutions for the rock Creek Watershed. Invoice for the lower Des Plaines Water shed group on there.

1. 12411 : 2022 Payment Approvals

No quorum, will bring back to next Meeting for Approval.

VII. REPORT OF OFFICERS, SUBCOMMITTEES, STATE'S ATTORNEY AND/OR STAFF US Army Corps of Engineers, The Du Page River project. The Plainfield township There are 3 buyout's and 3 dry flood proofing. We have met with all the residences. Appraisers is out and working on the total takes. Until I have the appraisals I have to wait. US Army Corps of Engineer is in the process of engaging a consulting engineer to evaluate at the dry flood proofing properties for that part of the work. Maybe by September or October. It is not idle.
