The first quarter of 2022: Romeoville experienced a 6.8% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2022 in Romeoville rose by $15,000 while total sales decreased by 17.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2022, there were 120 homes sold, with a median sale price of $235,000 - a 6.8% increase over the $220,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 145 homes sold in Romeoville in the first quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Romeoville for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,307, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2022.
