Village offices will be closed on Monday, February 21st in observance of President's Day.
If you have a situation that requires immediate attention but is not an emergency, please contact our police non-emergency line at 815-725-4636
Property Tax Rebate
The Shorewood Village Board has approved a property tax rebate of $50 in the form of a one-time utility bill credit for residential customers. The credit has been applied. 
Customers enrolled in auto pay will notice a reduction in the amount of the payments withdrawn this month. The credit will be noted as an adjustment on the 3/1 utility bill.

The Village of Shorewood is currently accepting applications for multiple positions including:

  • Public Works- Utilities Supervisor
  • Public Works - Seasonal Employee
  • Community Development - Village Planner
  • Police Department - Records SupervisorInterested candidates are encouraged to apply immediately. 
*The application deadlines vary for each position.

Village Receives Budget Award
The Village of Shorewood was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2020.
