Channahon Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Jan. 7
The Village has noticed that a third-party bill payment service, DOXO, has gained popularity recently. DOXO's website looks like it is affiliated with the Village of Channahon - but it is NOT. If you make a payment through the DOXO website, DOXO then cuts and mails a check to the Village, which can take up to 10-14 business days to actually reach our Finance Department. This delay in payment may result in late fees or penalties.
To make online payments that are secure and reflected on your account in real time, please be sure to utilize the ePay online payment portal on our website (link).
