A 48-year-old Crete native is creating a buzz as a model and actor while cultivating a loyal fan base.
Colin Egglesfield is known for jaw-dropping good looks and acting in the 2011 romantic comedy Something Borrowed, which was recently picked up by Netflix.
“Amazing to see #somethingborrowed still delivering and trending on @netflix! If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s your chance! Or your chance to watch it for the 4,000th time! :),” Egglesfield wrote on Twitter.
Egglesfield graduated from Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights and Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, according to Wikipedia.
A Twitter user known as Lolly Christmas, known for celebrating Christmas year round, recently posted that he would be starring in a holiday movie.
“Egglesfield recently starred in 'A Christmas Witness' with Arielle Kebbel. It debuted on the ION network on Nov. 28,” the user wrote.
IDMB reports that he has an older sister and younger brother.
"If you don't wake up each morning with burning desire to do whatever it is that you want to do, chances are you're not going to be successful," he told the Patch in 2011. "Especially with acting, because you face so much rejection on a continuous basis. I average (for) every 100, 150 auditions I go on, I get one job. For every one yes, I get 99 nos."
