Channahon Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Nov. 22
Please note that Village Hall will be closed on Thursday, November 25 and Friday, November 26 in observation of Thanksgiving.
As Thanksgiving is a weekday holiday, refuse pickup for Thursday residents will be DELAYED by one day. Residents whose refuse is normally picked up on Thursday will be picked up on Friday, November 26 in observation of the holiday.
As a reminder, December 13-17 is the last week of yard waste collection service for 2021. Yard waste collection will resume the week of March 15, 2022. During the months in which yard waste pickup does not occur, residents can use their yard waste cart as an extra refuse cart at no additional charge.
