1. Contract Award for Janitorial Services at Monee Reservoir and Plum Creek Nature Center

Chief Operating Officer Schultz explained that contracts in an amount less than $20,000.00 are within Administrative Authority of the Chief Operating Officer per the Forest Preserve District's Procurement Ordinance. The Contract for Janitorial Services at Monee Reservoir and Plum Creek Nature Center was awarded to Total Facility Maintenance of Wood Dale, IL in the amount of $18,720.00.

2. Next Meeting Date - Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 8:30 AM at the Will County Office Building, 302 N. Chicago Street, Joliet, Illinois

J. COMMENTS BY COMMISSIONERS

Commissioner Moustis inquired about the Forest Preserve's posting of job opportunities. Chief Operating Officer Schultz responded the District's Human Resource department posts hiring opportunities on our website, with outside hiring agencies, and at local college/universities. Commissioner Moustis would like the Forest Preserve to widen advertising. Schultz concurred with Moustis and would look into additional agencies and mimic the practices of the County.
