Village of Frankfort Committee of the Whole Met March 1.

CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Jim Holland called the Committee of the Whole meeting to order at 6:00 P.M., at the Village Administration Building, 432 W. Nebraska Street, Frankfort, Illinois.

ROLL CALL

In attendance were Mayor Jim Holland, Village Clerk Brian Feehery, Trustees Adam Borrelli, John Clavio, Margaret Farina, Keith Ogle, Jessica Petrow, and Gene Savaria. Staff in attendance included Village Administrator Rob Piscia, Police Chief John Burica, Utilities Director Zach Brown, and Senior Planner Christopher Gruba.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Trustee Savaria made a motion (#1), seconded by Trustee Petrow, to approve the Committee of the Whole minutes of November 16, 2020, as presented. A voice vote was taken. All were in favor. The motion carried.

STAFFING DISCUSSION

Mayor Holland opened the discussion regarding the recruitment of the new Director of Community and Economic Development. He welcomed comments and feedback from the Village Board and staff in attendance about the duties and responsibilities for this position moving forward. Administrator Piscia provided a brief summary of the current status of the hiring process.

Following the discussion, Mayor Holland requested the Board provide feedback to him or Administrator Piscia their choices of three candidates to move forward to the interview phase of the process. Interviews would then be set for later in March.

There were no other items for discussion.

PUBLIC COMMENTS

There were no comments from the public.

ADJOURNMENT

Hearing no further business, Trustee Ogle made a motion (#2), seconded by Trustee Farina, to adjourn the Committee of the Whole meeting of Monday, March 1, 2021. A voice vote was taken. All were in favor. The motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 6:50 P.M.
