Village of Plainfield Board of Police Commissioners Met August 13

Village of Plainfield Board of Police Commissioners met Aug. 13.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Commissioner Greg Chapman called the meeting of the Board of Police Commissioners to order at 5:56pm. In attendance were Commissioner Chapman, Commissioner Schindlbeck, Chief Konopek and Kim McKinney. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic this meeting was held at the Village Hall and recorded live. The public was allowed and encouraged to email all comments or questions they would like addressed to Commission Administrative Assistant Kim McKinney by 3:00 p.m. on August 13, 2020. No questions or comments were received.

Public Forum: Citizen's Comments-None.

The minutes of the May 21, 2020 meeting were read, and Commissioner Chapman moved the minutes to be approved, Commissioner Schindlbeck seconded the motion. All in favor.

Correspondence- Invoice from Conrad Polygraph for three new hires was read. Commissioner Chapman moved the invoice to be approved, Commissioner Schindlbeck seconded the motion. All in favor.

Old Business- The board would like to have Testing for Public Safety, LLC come in at our next scheduled meeting on September 17, 2020 to give a presentation on what they offer for Entry Level and Promotional Testing options. Commissioner Chapman asked that Administrative Assistant Kim McKinney to arrange for them to be present.

New Business- None.

Executive Session-Commissioner Chapman moved the meeting adjourned to Executive Session at 6:03 p.m.

There being no further business or discussion, Commissioner Chapman moved the meeting be adjourned at 6:20 pm.
