1. 2020 Buildings and Structure Report
2. Forest Preserve District of Will County Reopening Plan
Commissioner Fricilone inquired for verification on preserve latrines and or facility openings. Fricilone questioned if they will not open until there is a vaccine for the Covid-19 virus. Chief Operating Officer Schultz responded according to Governor Pritzker as Illinois moves into Phase 4 the Forest Preserve will begin to open latrines and facilities with continued guidelines of the CDC. Schultz informed the Board Phase 4 should begin June 26, 2020.
3. Next Meeting Date - Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 8:30 AM at the Sugar Creek Administration Center, 17540 W. Laraway Road, Joliet, Illinois
I. COMMENTS BY PUBLIC
Mr. Michael Brenczewski addressed the Committee regarding the approved purchase of .038 acres at Riverview Farmstead. As the discussion proceeded, Mr. Brenczewski indicted that he is considering legal action because he will no longer be able to use the property for hunting once the Forest Preserve assumes ownership. Attorney George Mahoney advised the Commissioners to cease discussion based on the threat of legal action.
