Illinois State House District 37 issued the following announcement on Sept. 18.
The Illinois Manufacturer’s Association every year compiles a legislative report card. The Illinois General Assembly votes on thousands of bills and amendments, many of which have an impact on the manufacturing sector. The IMA analyses these votes and showcases the lawmakers supportive of Illinois’ manufacturing economy and those that vote against job creators.
In the 2020 report, State Representative Margo McDermed scored 90%. Only 46 out of 118 Illinois House legislators scored over 80%.
