Analysis: Frankfort pays $3.86 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Frankfort Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 78.7 percent of the $1,247,200 the Frankfort Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.86 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Will County Gazette analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Frankfort contributed $981,772 to the fund, which saw a $109,284 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $254,028, or 20.4 percent, in 2018. Another $11,400 came from other unspecified sources.
