City of Joliet issued the following announcement on May 29.
On May 24th, the State of Illinois issued Phase 3 of the Restore Illinois Plan which included Restaurants & Bars For Outdoor Dining Guidelines. The State guidelines include the following topics:
• General Health
• HR and Travel Policies
• Health Monitoring
• Physical Workspace
• Disinfecting/Cleaning Procedures
• Staffing and Attendance
• External Interactions
• Customer Behaviors

The City of Joliet encourages all businesses to continue to follow the Governor’s guidelines and Executive Order. The City of Joliet is not establishing any additional regulations at this time, however, all businesses must comply with the new guidelines provided by the State of Illinois and all existing City of Joliet Ordinances.
