Q2 2019 Recap: Parolees near Illinois zip code 60436 convicted of property crimes

There were three offenders convicted of property crimes released on parole near Illinois zip code 60436 during the second quarter, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Will County Gazette.

The data shows that three men were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for property crimes was 31. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man sentenced in 2018, and the oldest was a 46-year-old man sentenced in 2015.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was William D. Lee. He was convicted of a property crime in 2018 when he was 19 years old. He is now 21.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below shows the 50 zips in Illinois with the most paroled offenders in the second quarter who were convicted of property crimes.
