City of Joliet issued the following announcement on Nov. 22.
The Zonta Club of Joliet will participate in two Zonta International campaigns this year. These are 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence and Zonta Says NO to Violence Against Women, which is a year-round effort. These campaigns are intended to inspire action to end violence against women and girls around the world while providing club members with the opportunity to focus on advocacy and service.
