City of Wilmington issued the following announcement on Aug. 25.
Hello everyone! It is very important to me to listen to your feedback, your questions, and your concerns. We can do that by phone or by e-mail, but I like it best when we can meet and talk in person. That’s why I have scheduled town hall meetings in each of the four counties in our district in early September, once families are back from their summer vacations and kids are back in school.
I know many of you have questions and have understandable feelings of frustration and disappointment about some of the legislation that passed in Springfield this year. Let’s have a conversation about that. I want to listen and to share with you the reasons why I voted the way I did on each issue. Please join me at a town hall meeting near you.
