The Renaissance Center in Joliet is hosting a precinct committeeman’s training session from 9 a.m. to noon, and a candidate's training from 1-4 p.m. Saturday to educate communities on how to combat Illinois' state tax increases.
The event is organized by a collaboration of sponsors including the Will County Republican Central Committee, the Illinois Republican County Chairman’s Association, the Illinois State Central Committee and the Eyes Wide Open exhibit.
The free admission also includes a complimentary breakfast from 8-9 a.m. and box lunches. Attendees must pre-register to be allowed entry.
The Renaissance Center is at 214 N. Ottawa St., Joliet.
