There were 22 offenders convicted of property crimes released on parole in Aurora during the second half of 2018, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Will County Gazette.

The data shows that 18 men and four women were among the parolees. The median age of the parolees sentenced for property crimes was 37. The youngest parolee was a 23-year-old man sentenced in 2017, and the oldest was a 63-year-old woman sentenced in 2007.

The offender who was incarcerated the longest was Ieshia Brown. She was convicted of a property crime in 2007 when she was 52 years old. She is now 63.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below shows the 50 cities in Illinois with the most paroled offenders during the second half of 2018 who were convicted of property crimes.
