Village of Plainfield Police Commission met April 18.

Here is the minutes provided by the commission:

Commissioner Michael Nott called the April 18, 2019 meeting of the Board of Police Commissioners to order at 6:08 p.m. In attendance were Commissioner Nott, Commissioner Chapman, Chief Konopek, Cindie Blazina, and a group of students from Plainfield North High School..

Public Forum: Citizen's Comments- None. Commissioner Nott took a few minutes to introduce the Board of Police Commissioners and its functions to the public in attendance.

The minutes of the March 21, 2019 meeting were read, and Commissioner Nott moved the minutes to be approved, Commissioner Chapman seconded the motion. All in favor.

Correspondence- The 2019 revised contract from 10 Solutions was presented to the Commission with the corrected rates for the Entry Level Police Officer testing cycle. Commissioner Chapman motioned to approve the contract, and Commission Gardner second. The contract was signed off by Commissioner Chapman and Cindie Blazina will return it to IO Solutions for reference. Actual invoice to follow.

Old Business- The Commission will hold oral interviews for the Top 20 Candidates next Saturday, April 27th, 2019.

The 2019 Sergeants Exam timeline was approved by the Commission. The posting will go out internally to the Department in June of 2019. The testing will be administered through 10 Solutions again.

Executive Session-Commissioner Nott dismissed the public and moved the meeting be adjourned to Executive Session at 6:31 p.m.

There being no further business or discussion, Commissioner Nott moved the meeting be adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
