A Regular Meeting of the Village of Manhattan President and Board of Trustees was held on Tuesday June 4, 2019. Mayor Doyle opens the meeting at 7:00 P.M. Roll call: Trustee Beemsterboer, Trustee Biscan aye, Trustee McDonough aye, Trustee Naughton aye, Trustee Dilling, and Trustee Doyle. Also present are Becker, Doyle, Kendall, and Nelson, Pintar, Taylor and Wazny.
Doyle motion to approve the Consent Agenda As Follows: The Regular Minutes of the May 21, 2019, Bills List For June 4, 2019 And A Resolution Authorization The Use Of U.S. Route 52 And Manhattan/Monee On March 2, 2019. Naughton second. Roll call: Beemsterboer aye, Biscan aye, McDonough aye, Naughton aye, Dilling aye, Doyle aye. (6 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent). Motion Carried.
Mayor Doyle informs everyone present that the Resolution Authorizing A Settlement Agreement Number 17ED To Include Acquisition Of Certain Real Property Along Baker Road will be held until after Executive Session.
Trustee McDonough wants to remind everyone that the First Car Show for the season will begin Monday June 10th, from 6 to 9, and the Manhattan Park District will be hosting there Sip of Summer starting this Wednesday.
Trustee Doyle lets everyone know that the Manhattan Historical Society will be allowed to have the Civil War Reenactment Group march in the Labor Day Parade.
Doyle Motion to Enter Into Executive Session For The Consideration To Purchase, Lease, Or Acquire Specific Real Estate Property Or For The Probable Or Imminent And Pending Litigation.

Beemsterboer Motion to Approve A Resolution Subject To Execution By The Defendant Of All Necessary Settlement Documents Authorizing A Settlement Agreement Of Will County Case Number 17ED11 To Include Acquisition Of Certain Real Property Along Baker Road. Naughton second. Roll Call: Beemsterboer aye, Biscan aye, McDonough aye, Naughton aye, Dilling aye, Doyle aye. (6 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent). Motion Carried.
Mayor Doyle informs everyone present that this Right Of Way Agreement is the last agreement with Three (3) property owners that will allow for the widening of Cedar Road and the addition of a turn lane.
