Former state school employee Bisping Mohebbi paid in $165K to teachers' pension fund, could collect $4.12M in retirement

Former state school employee Dianne Bisping Mohebbi, who retired in June 2017, saved $164,794 toward a pension over 37 years working for public schools, Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Illinois records show.

Over 30 years of retirement, Bisping Mohebbi would collect as much as $4.12 million, according to a projection by Local Government Information Services (LGIS), which publishes Will County Gazette.

The projection assumes Bisping Mohebbi received $86,622 in the first year of retirement, then 3 percent annual increases thereafter, compounded.

After 2 years of retirement, Bisping Mohebbi will have already received $175,843 in retirement benefits, or more than the sum total of the retiree's contributions to the teachers' pension fund.
