The City of Joliet Police Department issued the following announcement on May 14.
The City of Joliet invites the public to attend a Townhall Meeting on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at the All Nations of God and Christ Church, 503 Water Street. The purpose of this meeting is to address any questions or concerns over the Joliet Police Department involved shooting on Des Plaines
Street in February.
Joliet Police Chief Al Roechner and Joliet Police Command Staff personnel will be leading the discussion. Joliet Mayor Bob O’Dekirk along with City Council Members are expected to attend.
