Joliet (Will County) home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Joliet in Will County rose by $29,600 while total sales decreased by 17.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 346 homes sold, with a median sale price of $172,500 - a 20.7% increase over the $142,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 418 homes sold in Joliet in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Joliet for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,889.70, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
