New Lenox home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in New Lenox rose by $15,390 while total sales decreased by 37.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 79 homes sold, with a median sale price of $248,390 - a 6.6% increase over the $233,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 127 homes sold in New Lenox in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in New Lenox for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $6,632.10, approximately 2.7% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
